These are the people I worked out with this morning. It’s a DVD called Basics and includes aerobics and strength workouts. I got it at 5below a few years ago and it has been in my basement collecting dust. When I put the DVD in I could immediately tell how corny it was going to be. It starts off slow so at first I was a little disappointed but it started to become challenging. I recommend it! And if you didn’t already know.. 5below also has work out equipment such as small weights, jump ropes, exercise balls, etc. Why spend more on this stuff when it’s the same quality? Have a good day everyone!!!!! Happy Valentine’s Day! <3 <3
Good Morning everyone!! I’ve been meaning to start a Tumblr and what better time to do so but a lovely Sunday morning! Let’s start off with why I am here. I’m here to share my weight loss journey with everyone and of course throw some random thoughts here and there. I used to be 110lbs in high school and I was very active. I ran cross country and track year round. When I look at pictures of myself I think I was just a tad too skinny so my weight loss goal is set for 120lbs. I was 170lbs 3 weeks ago when I started dieting. I am currently 157lbs, so down 13lbs already. Go ME! I also forgot to add that I am only 5’1. After high school I started college and worked for Wawa(Convenience Store). About a year and a half of screwing up college by partying and ditching classes, I started working for a bank and stopped going to college until I could figure out what I wanted to do with my life (I still don’t know) and until I could take things seriously. I went from standing on my feet all day to sitting at a desk like a sloth. Donuts every other morning on the break room table, pizza every Friday, local businesses dropping off food, etc. You get the point. I stopped exercising and fell into bad eating habits. My boyfriend (now husband) and I bought a house together and it was too easy to come home, whip up a fast unhealthy dinner and continue to sit on my ass like I did all day. I love my TV and movies a little too much. I don’t know what I would do without Netflix. I’ve tried dieting before about a handful of times and each time it barely lasted more than a week. This time is different. I’ve finally had enough of myself looking the way I do. I want to do this for me. I want to be able to fit into the cute clothes I have hiding in the back of my closet. I want to feel comfortable on the beach and in the summer. I want my friends to go “wow” when they see the new me. I want my husband to be proud of me and look at me the way he did 5 years ago when we met. I’ve tried diet pills and they did not work nor did they make me feel good. I don’t know why I thought it would be a good idea even when in the back of my mind I knew they weren’t the way to go. So I am doing this the natural way with the help of my $10 yard sale tredmill (whatta steal!), Wii fit, the trails at Nottingham Park, and eating healthy of course. I will share recipes, ideas, tips, and exercises with everyone that I find helpful. Feel free to reblog anything you find interesting or helpful and feel free to ask me anything. If you are also on a journey to better you, GOODLUCK!!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy and have a great Sunday!
